Emery – The Weak’s End Vinyl LP

We are pleased to announce that our next release will be Emery – The Weak’s End on vinyl. It’s going to be a split release with our friends at Dreamover Records. It’ll be limited to 500 copies over 3 colors. Each label will have an exclusive color limited to 200 copies and then there will be 100 copies on black. The exclusive color for us is clear blue with black swirl. It will only be available in our store.

Preorders will launch on June 8th and copies will begin shipping when we return from Cornerstone, on July 5th.

All The Day Holiday – The Sloth Sessions Cassette

We just released a cassette from All The Day Holiday. It features seven songs. They are alternate, instrumental versions of songs off their last album and their EP. Comes with a download card for MP3s of the tracks. Pick it up in our store.

DA Shipping/Gloria Record Preorders/Contest

Just a quick update.
Discover America records will arrive from the plant sometime this week and we will immediately begin shipping them out. The first set of test pressings had some issues which is what caused the week long delay. But all of that has been resolved and everything is almost finished.
The Gloria Record preorders will launch tomorrow afternoon, May 4th.

The Gloria Record – Start Here Vinyl LP

Broken Circles is pleased to announce that our next release will be the vinyl version of The Gloria Record – Start Here. Following the 1997 demise of their band Mineral, singer/guitarist Chris Simpson and bassist Jeremy Gomez reunited in the Gloria Record. Start Here is their first and only full length.

This release will be limited to 1000 copies:
100 – Black
200 – White
300 – Maroon Marble
400 – Yellow with Orange Marble

Preorders will launch on May 4th and the album will be out in late May.

Discover America – Future Paths Preorders Are Up

The time has come. Preorders for the Discover America – Future Paths vinyl LP have launched. By preordering the record you are entering yourself  in a chance to win a test press of the record. Records will begin shipping at the end of April. We also added Broken Circles stickers, buttons, and coasters to store, so throw one or seven in with your order. Discover America – Future Paths Vinyl LP

Broken Circles is pleased to announce that it’s next release will be Discover America – Future Paths. Discover America is the one-man band from singer-songwriter Chris Staples. Formerly a member of acclaimed bands Telekinesis and Twothirtyeight, Staples adopted the Discover America moniker to release his well-received debut album Psychology in 2005. He wrote, recorded and produced Future Paths over the course of two years in his home studio. Paths is a considerably more collaborative album in comparison to Psychology’s extensive self-reflection, featuring help from friends David Broecker (John Vanderslice, Telekinesis), Ryan Phillips (Crystal Skulls), Alex Westcoat (David Bazan, Say Hi) and Ryan Hook. Fueled by Staples’ ambition “to stop obsessively searching for truth, and appreciate the ambiguity of living a human life,” the result is an album that explores a wide range of instrumentation and emotion with agility and ease.

The release is limted to 500 copies.

200 – White
There will also be 50 copies on Grey Marble only available on tour with Chris.

Preorders will launch on April 6th and the records will begin shipping on or around April 27th.

Pomegranates – Everything Is Alive Vinyl Out Now

The Pomegranates’ Everything Is Alive vinyl LP is officially out and all preorders have shipped. Thanks to everyone that bought a copy so far and to everyone that came out to the release show. The guys just left for tour so make sure to see them if they are coming anywhere near you or catch one of their shows if you are going to SXSW.
As always things are clicking around here and we’ll be announcing some new releases in the coming weeks. So stay tuned.

Pomegranates – Everything Is Alive LP Pre-Orders

The Pomegranates Everything Is Alive vinyl LP is now up for pre-order in our store. We got test pressings in this week and they sound wonderful. We will have the records in hand next week and they will begin shipping on March 8th. If you haven’t, you can check out songs from the album on our MySpace. Tantrum Of The Muse Vinyl

Broken Circles and our friends in Tantrum Of The Muse need your help! The band just had their first album, The Heart Is A Two-Headed Sperm, remastered and we would love to see this album get pressed on vinyl. This isn’t possible without your help though. We have set up a Kickstarter project in order to raise the funds necessary to press the record.
Simply put, it is a pre-order, and if enough people pre-order it then it will get pressed, if we don’t get enough support then it won’t happen. We have 50 days to reach our goal. So please help us get this pressed by making a pledge and helping us spread the word.

We got a new store back at the very end of 2009. Well, we are very close to having the 100th order placed in the new store. So in celebration of that, we will give the person who places the 100th order their entire order for free. If you order and end up being the 100th one we will refund your dollars and ship you your stuff. So if you have been meaning to pick up a record, now would be the perfect time to do so.
