Chris Staples of Discover America / Twothirtyeight is hitting the road this month in anticipation of his new album “American Soft”. He’ll be trekking through the south, midwest, and east coast with friend Tim Very, who will be playing drums, percussion and keys. Our good friends in O’Brother recently released an amazing record, Garden Window. We have some copies in our distro. It’s a 2xLP with gatefold jacket and full color 22″x11″ insert on black & white vinyl. You can pick up a copy here.

It’s been in the works for a while, but we are excited to announce that we are releasing both Hawkboy EPs, S/T and King Folly, on vinyl together. Hawkboy was formed sometime in the year 2009 by Cody Bonnette and Aaron Lunsford. After their band As Cities Burn called it quits, they began writing songs together in Nashville. This was followed by a series of unfortunate events that caused them to go underground until last year, when they surfaced, released two EPs, and toured around the country.

Side A will feature S/T with the bonus track Irate Blues and Side B will feature King Folly. Front side of the jacket will have the S/T artwork and the back side will have the King Folly art. This is a limited pressing of 300 copies over two colors, Solid Green and Clear Gold w/ Black Swirl.

Preorders will launch in early February and the LP will drop in early March. Stay tuned for more details on ordering information. In the mean time you can download S/T for free and stream all of King Folly.

We’re pleased to announce that we will be bring Hopesfall’s debut album, The Frailty Of Words, to vinyl for the first time ever in February. Originally released in 1999, the LP features brand new artwork from Chandler Owen, who has been responsible for all their previous artwork. The record will be limited to 500 copies on 3 colors:
